Special EuropeActive News
Towards Active Autumn 2020
bringing you up to date with the latest news and activities from the European fitness sector
EuropeActive’s C19 Impact study to be released at EHFF!
We successfully put together, in collaboration with Deloitte, 4global and other data-collection partners, and sponsored by FIBO, Virtuagym and Sport Solution/BRP Systems, a joint study on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the European fitness industry that will be released at the virtual European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF) – partly online and partly on-site – on 30th September.
Health, Digital, Community and Standards will be the four EHFF keywords which are based on our 2020-2021 strategy paper and form the core of our manifesto to be signed by sector representatives in Cologne. We are currently working behind the scenes to set up this event and will inform you of further details as soon as possible.
Our Active Autumn Events
After FIBO announced that they will not run as a live event but as an all-digital event for 2020, EuropeActive adapted its plans for the FIBO days. Our European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF) will be held as a virtual event on 30 September and we will also launch the President’s Council, host a physical EFAF meeting and present our strategy for 2025, which includes our new Ambassadorship programme.
EuropeActive moves to podcasts to step up in content creation
After the success of our series of webinars, we will be moving into podcasts in the coming months with the aim of generating original, ready-to-use content for members, stakeholders and supporters. The Active Podcast will present new episodes once every two weeks. The introductory podcast with EuropeActive President David Stalker can be found below:
